Every so often I take a visit to the Milford Coastline and take a walk along Silver Sands and Walnut Beach. Silver Sands is a Connecticut State Park, and there is a boardwalk that connects the two beaches.

Silver Sands Beach holds a special place in the hearts of Milford residents. It has a rich history dating back to the 1800s when it was a popular resort destination.

Today, it remains a beloved spot for beachgoers and nature enthusiasts. It is also a popular spot for walkers and photo adventurers like myself.

Many people take photos here daily, and rightfully so! It is a beautiful area and there are a lot of different scenes to take in.

One of the highlights of Walnut Beach is its beachfront promenade and pier.

Lined with benches, it's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy panoramic views of the Long Island Sound. The promenade is also a hub for joggers, cyclists, and rollerbladers.
