On the picturesque shores of Lake George, New York, music enthusiasts gathered on September 2, 2023, at Charles R. Wood Park.

The Adirondack Independence Music Festival (AIM Fest) transformed this idyllic setting into a musical haven, featuring an eclectic lineup of bands from start to finish.

There were incredible performances by Creamery Station, Baked Shrimp, Karina Rykman, Roots of Creation, Melt, Mihali, Dumpstaphunk, and Moe.

Here, we delve into AIM Fest (Day 2) and the exceptional talent that graced the stage.

Creamery Station: Groovy Blues & Rock Fusion

Creamery Station kicked off the festival with their blend of blues and rock that had the crowd grooving from the very start.

Melt shifted the festival's atmosphere with their intimate yet energetic jams. Their soulful, introspective lyrics and passionate instrumentation created a powerful vibe.

The band's chemistry was evident from the moment they stepped on stage. Their musical interplay was seamless, each member complementing the others with precision and grace.

Melt demonstrated a deep understanding of musical dynamics, allowing their songs to ebb and flow, building tension and releasing it with graceful resolve.

Melt's performance at the Adirondack Independence Music Festival left a memorable impression on myself & many others. I will be looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for this talented group of musicians.

Mihali, best known as the frontman of Twiddle, took the stage with his solo live band, wielding his guitar and captivating the audience with his heartfelt lyrics and melodic compositions.

Backed by a super-charged live band, ( Scott Hannay - Keys, Adrian Tramontano - Drums, Dave DeCristo - Bass, Michael Bafundo - Trumpet, Mike Oehmen - Saxophone) Mihali's performance resonated deeply with the crowd.

One of the defining characteristics of Mihali's music is his songwriting. His compositions are a masterful blend of introspective lyrics and melodic beauty.

Each song invited the listener to journey through the ups and downs of life, love, and self-discovery. Mihali's ability to convey complex emotions through his music is something special.

While some songs delved into the depths of the human experience, others were filled with infectious positivity and hope. It was a testament to his versatility as a songwriter and performer.

Dumpstaphunk: Funk Legends
